A Mission to Preserve and Inspire
PRESERVE MY NATION, established in 2015, began with a vision from a trained architect committed to safeguarding historic landmarks. With over 30 years of experience, our mission is to educate the public on the importance and methods of preservation while motivating active community participation across cities and towns nationwide.
Vision:
John Rossi, Founder of Preserve My Nation LLC (est. 2015), is a Boston-trained architect, historic preservation expert , and educator with 30+ years’ experience integrating multi-disciplinary teams. He collaborates with professionals, clients, communities, educators, and students as project lead to interpret, protect, and design overall architectural, MEP, and structural intent for repurposing historic (urban–rural–industrial) structures and preservation of landmark buildings.
His early underpinnings as a carpenter and outdoors instructor formed today’s dossier of learned restoration projects — celebrated successes, punctuated by irreplaceable losses. Every story teaches values that inspire action among self-selecting preservationists, whose mindful attention and hands-on efforts move beyond ideas, talk, and scrolling to — See, Learn, and Do.
Preserve My Nation LLC, and its collaborators fosters a culture of discipline, skill, and civic responsibility — cornerstone principles that empower individuals to roll up their sleeves and learn timeless life skills & trades, to engage practically with their surroundings, and contribute to enduring stories of place to strengthen their community bonds.
